MISSION
To provide a single website
for the Central Florida region that serves as a clearinghouse of information
for the infected and affected population of individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
To be a resource for the full range of care providers involved in
HIV/AIDS to be better informed, educated and trained to serve the community of
people living with HIV/AIDS.
To foster a greater sense of
collaboration among community based and AIDS service organizations and thus
enable more effective networking of individuals and coordination of resources.
To function as a model for a network of care - linking client with
service and provider - that can be implemented in both resource-poor and
resource-sufficient settings via Internet technology.
To raise awareness about the
unique needs and special solutions germane to the diverse communities affected
by HIV/AIDS while helping empowering those communities to be stronger.
To bring about greater unity
among minority groups with each other and with ever widening circles of kinship
at the local, state, national and international levels.
To creatively attempt to overcome the barriers that exist between those individuals infected and affected by HIV/AIDS and digital technology to improve information flow and access to services.
